Fullerton's Channel 64, Station F.A.N., located on our school's closed circuit TV airs the daily Fullerton school news. It is created, hosted and produced by Fullerton students, with the 4th grade level having jobs such as News Anchors, Weather and lunch reporter and camera controller. These broadcasts focus not only on events happening in our school, but also integrate areas of our school's curriculum. Our TV news is viewed LIVE every morning at 9:05 a.m. in every classroom via the school's closed-circut TV channel, thus providing a daily means of communicating and sharing information.

To listen to our daily Podcast read by Fullerton 3rd grade students which provides another means of communication to our community, click on the Listen to School News Here button to the left to hear today's news.

The Creative Writer

The Creative Writer – 1st Quarter, 2014

What if you could be a pair of shoes (or boots)?  What kind would you be?  Would you belong on the feet of an astronaut, a nurse, a fire fighter, a pilot, the president, or someone else?  Describe your experiences as a pair of shoes.  What would you do all day?  What would you think about?

Your story must be told from the point of view of the shoes!

Write a 1-2 page, handwritten story as if you are a pair of shoes.

Please put your first & last name, grade, and teacher’s name at the end your story!
