biography

Welcome to Early Childhood! My name is Bridget Corbin-Tipler. This is my fifth year at Fullerton as the Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Teacher. 2021-2022 will be my 9th year teaching for Omaha Public Schools. Before joining Fullerton, I was an ECSE Resource Teacher in OPS. I have my undergraduate degrees in Graphic Design/Studio Art, minor in Online Media, and Early Childhood Education Unified. I have my Master's in Special Education with a specialization in Early Childhood Special Education and a graduate certificate in ASD from UND. Currently, I am working on my Masters in Administration from UNK and a Special Education Generalist K-6 endorsement. I am married, and have a step-daughter. In my free time, I love spending time with family, traveling back to our hometowns to see family, going to the zoo, watching sports,  spending time outside, photography and graphic design.

In Early Childhood, we use Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies Gold assessments to track student growth. During the year, we will explore a variety of studies, that will help your child develop their social-emotional, physical (gross motor and fine motor), language, cognitive, literacy and math skills.

The studies for the 21-22 school year:

August and September: “Beginning of the School Year” learning about our classroom rules, routines and about our new friends.

October: Trees

November: Buildings

December: Balls

January: Clothing

February/March: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle

March/April: Cars

April/May: Gardens
